NDT

NDT is one of the most practical CBM technologies in protecting and maintaining the safety, integrity and reliability of plant systems and processes. NDT provides various testing methods for Stationary equipment such as Tanks, Pressure Vessels and Piping.

Allied provides full service inspection, testing, and training and calibration services to the nation’s industrial community. Services provided include:

  • Crane and material handling safety inspections
  • NonDestructive testing (radiography, ultrasonic, load testing, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, visual, portable hardness, vacuum box, dielectric), welder qualification testing, and nondestructive testing training
  • Gage calibration services include both dimensional and electronic precision calibration

 

Further, used in conjunction with other CBM technologies, NDT can help enable the Proactive Workflow Model by identifying defects in advance; corrective work can then be planned and scheduled generating higher reliability gains.
