OutsourcedWhen implementing a PdM program, a strategic business decision has to be made in regard to which type of PdM Delivery model is right for your plant. This decision will most likely be based on the following elements: labor cost, training and development, coaching and mentoring, recruiting and staffing, hardware and software needs, timeline for implementation, union vs. non-union environment, and career development opportunities. Allied’s versatility offers our clients a number of customized models centered around four (4) Basic PdM Delivery Models:
Outsourcing Model (Full Time Equivalent (FTE) and Regional Programs) What are some of the key indicators that PdM Outsourcing may be the right solution for your plant?
If the decision involves the need to outsource the PdM program, Allied Reliability has two distinct program solutions to help your plant achieve its reliability goals: Allied FTE and Allied Regional Programs. What are the specific benefits shared by each program?
Allied’s FTE Program If your plant is looking for a full time, technical analyst who can identify the causes of equipment failures and recommend an effective solution, the Allied FTE (Full Time Equivalent) program may be the right fit for your organization. The Allied FTE program was specifically designed for plants that require the services of an Allied CBM Analyst for 2,000 hours annually. The FTE is a dedicated resource to a plant or group of plants to perform CBM (Condition Based Monitoring) or Reliability services. Dependent upon the plants needs, the experienced Allied CBM Analyst will provide CBM services that may include, Vibration Analysis, Mechanical/Electrical IR, Motor Circuit Analysis, Ultrasound, Oil Analysis, Lubrication and Non-Destructive Testing. Some specific benefits of the Allied FTE program include:
Allied Regional Program With many of the same benefits of the Allied FTE program, the Allied Regional program was designed for organizations looking for a small scale approach to CBM solutions. The flexibility of this model is highlighted by the ability to jumpstart CBM activities around small to large asset bases The Regional CBM Analyst is a resource which performs CBM (Condition Based Monitoring) services to implement standardized methods across one or multiple plants. Dependent upon the plants needs, the experienced Allied CBM Analyst will provide CBM services that may include, Vibration Analysis, Mechanical/Electrical IR, Motor Circuit Analysis, Ultrasound, Oil Analysis, Lubrication and Non-Destructive Testing. This program is ideal for the plant that is looking for consistent and results-oriented CBM services but at a fraction of the time needed for the FTE program level. Regardless of the program, whether it is the Allied FTE program, Allied Regional Program or the Allied Remote Diagnostics Program, Allied Reliability provides companies with the capabilities to achieve their reliability goals.
