Why the name change from Allied Services Group to Allied Inspired Reliability?
WHY INSPIRED?
The short history behind our new tag line, Inspired Reliability.
Inspiration was the catalyst for Allied's start up in 1997. With a passion for the business case for reliability due to proven success inside the manufacturing environment -- an 18:1 Return on Investment on the PdM and PM Programs -- more than any other corporate initiative to date. The inspiration came from leading a customized integrated approach for identifying defects in assets that enabled the proactive maintenance model -- Allied'spassion for doing business still today.
Our customers have also fueled the spark of our inspiration with comments like this:
"The best thing about reliability for me is that now my 2 year-old twins and my wife and I can sleep through the night without the phone ringing. We can plan a family vacation. We can enjoy weekends, and I'm always home by 6:00 pm for supper."
We want to improve the lives of our customers and our employees. The enthusiasm of the Allied team for an integrated or holistic approach to reliability is so contagious that we wanted to share our inspiration for reliability with others.
Why did Allied change its name?
The name Allied Reliability more closely represents what Allied offers to the marketplace --reliability programs designed to improve the health and reliability of our customer's assets while reducing their maintenance spend -- the business case for reliability.
As a result, a new logo and tagline were created to generte interest and inspiration -- along with a consistent brand for our new offerings. Allied believes "It's Ok to Get Excited about Maintenance" -- and it is. We also inspire reliability among out clients and are inspired to help educate our customers on the business case for reliability.
