Circulating Oil & High-Pressure Lubrication Systems
T.F. Hudgins, an Allied Reliability brand, designs, fabricates, installs, and services custom lubrication systems to meet the specific needs of any compressor, engine, pump, or machine application. From pipeline and gas transmission operations to industrial mixers used for compounding rubber, plastics, and food processing, our systems are the industry standard in durability and performance. We deliver peak reliability for major equipment brands, including Ajax, Ariel, Clark, Cooper, Dresser-Rand, Ingersoll, Joy, Superior, and Worthington machinery.

From T.F. Hudgins, an Allied Reliability Brand
T.F. Hudgins was founded in 1947 and has delivered engineered product and service solutions for compressors, engines, pumps, motors, and other machinery with a focus on increasing reliability, longevity, performance, safety, and environmental compliance.
Engineered SOLUTIONS
Custom Lube Cabinets & Panels

L-Shaped Panel Systems
Designed with MVB or box lubricators to suit highly specific application requirements. The panel design helps protect critical equipment by eliminating the risk of oil contamination. A custom hand-priming unit on every system enables manual priming and purging of the lube system.

Enclosed Panel Systems
Available with locking cabinets to restrict access to system components in hazardous environments. Windows in the enclosure allow operators to easily read monitors and pressure gauges without opening doors and exposing the system to outside conditions.

Cold Climate Systems
Fully enclosed and insulated panels equipped with all necessary heaters and thermostats to precisely control the temperature of the oil being used.
High-Pressure Pumps
Gerhardt, HP-15, HP-50, and HP-60. T.F. Hudgins offers custom systems designed specifically for high-pressure (“hyper”) operations. These systems operate with minimal maintenance to help increase MTBF and eliminate unscheduled downtime.

Gerhardt Model PE AD Pumps
An in-line, positive displacement, plunger-type pump capable of delivering precisely metered quantities of fluid under high pressure for both lubricating and process requirements. They provide accurate fluid delivery at speeds up to 1,000 rpm. The 6 mm plunger supports 8,000 psig constant pressure (10,000 psig intermittent), while the 10 mm plunger supports 2,900 psig constant (5,000 psig intermittent).

Manzel® High-Pressure Lubricators
Models include the HP-15 (up to 15,000 psi, 7-quart capacity), HP-50 (up to 50,000 psi, 9-quart capacity), and HP-60 (up to 60,000 psi, 9-quart capacity). All models feature a 1/4-inch plunger diameter.

Engineered Protection
API 614-compliant day tanks (fabricated from heavy-duty materials such as 7-gauge 304SS or SA-312) are equipped with a sloped bottom rather than standard flat heads to reduce the risk of oil contamination. The pressurized system dramatically reduces wear by enabling the use of gear oil in the lube box. The pump design prevents the entry of wear debris, significantly extending pump life. The sight glass design accepts a threaded plug (perfectly accommodating straight 3/4″ Tube x 1/2″ FNPT connectors to eliminate tapered thread conflicts), ensuring a complete seal.
Automated Monitoring & Components

Divider Valves
TFH Series divider valves precisely proportion a volume of oil and operate in sequential fashion to ensure no point is missed. These valves are designed for higher pressure applications up to 7,500 psi.

System Accessories
Complete component integration includes Lube Sentry monitors to provide automatic warning and shutdown of compressors, pumps, and engines when oil is not flowing properly. Lube-line Alerts indicate “flow” or “no flow” for single lines, TFH Proximity Switches signal cycle rates, and TFH Pressure Filters prevent solid contaminants from entering downstream valves.
SERVICES
Expert Repairs & Maintenance
Comprehensive Repair Capabilities
T.F. Hudgins inspects, repairs, and rebuilds an extensive range of lubrication system pumps, gearboxes, check valves, and divider valves.
Factory-Approved High-Pressure Testing
As the nation’s only factory-approved high-pressure repair center, our testing capabilities extend up to 60,000 psig.
Verified Performance
Every rebuilt component must meet its specified pressure and flow ratings and pass leak and displacement testing before being returned.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the standard lead time for a custom L-Shaped Panel?
Lead time depends on the panel configuration, components, materials, controls, and current production schedule. T.F. Hudgins can provide an estimated schedule after reviewing the application and final scope.
What is the difference between the Modu-Flo and G3 Electric packages?
Modu-Flo packages support electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic pump configurations for a broad range of centralized lubrication applications. G3 packages use a compact electric pump platform with multiple reservoir, power, and controller options. Selection depends on the lubricant, system design, available utilities, and monitoring requirements.
Can the Gerhardt PE AD handle aggressive process fluids?
Potentially. Fluid compatibility depends on the selected wetted materials, seals, operating pressure, temperature, and process conditions. T.F. Hudgins should review the fluid data and application requirements before specifying the pump.
