Laura Chamorro Appointed CEO of Allied Reliability
Allied Reliability announced today that Laura Chamorro has been appointed CEO, effective August 1, 2025, succeeding Raj Sengupta. Sengupta will be stepping down after two years of impactful leadership to pursue new opportunities.
Chamorro and Sengupta are collaborating closely to ensure a seamless transition. “Laura brings an exceptional track record of commercial leadership and strategic vision,” said Sengupta. “Her expertise in building high-performing teams and driving market success positions her perfectly to lead Allied Reliability into its next phase of growth. She is known for her commitment to innovation, customer value, and operational excellence.”
Chamorro joins Allied Reliability from Shell, where she has served since 2012, following a distinguished tenure at Dow Chemical. At Shell, she played a pivotal role in establishing and growing the polymers business, leading market entry strategies, optimizing distribution channels, and building a team of industry experts. Her prior experience at Dow Chemical spanned sales, product management, marketing, channel management, and business development within the polymers and chemicals sectors.
“Raj’s leadership strengthened Allied’s operational foundation and expanded our service capabilities, and I am grateful for his guidance during this transition,” said Chamorro. “I am honored to join Allied Reliability and excited to lead our talented team in delivering innovative reliability solutions and exceptional value to our customers.”
Under Chamorro’s leadership, Allied Reliability will continue to advance its strategic vision, leveraging its partnership with Shell Lubricants to enhance industrial services and drive profitable growth. Allied operates as an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Shell Lubricants.
